Google Pixel 2’s Portrait mode on any android device –

Last year Google launched its latest flagship device, Pixel 2. The portrait mode of Google pixel 2 grabbed attention of many android users. The Google pixel 2 camera features such as AR stickers, Face retouching, Motion photos have been ported previously for some android devices by XDA developers.

Recently XDA senior developer Arnova8G2 ported the Google pixel2 camera app which brings the all time popular portrait mode clicks on non google android devices running on android oreo including Oneplus 3, Oneplus 3T, Moto G5 and G5s plus and Xiamoi Mi 5s. 64 bit devices running on android oreo are compatible with this Google Pixel 2’s camera port.

How to get Google Pixel 2 portrait mode on any android phone :

Requirements – Your device should be based on 64 bit architecture and running on android Oreo. It may not work on older versions of android.

  • Download the Latest Google pixel 2 camera port APK on your device.
  • Turn on unknown sources by going to settings> security. turn on install apps from unknown sources.
  • Now simply install the downloaded apk and open up your camera.
  • start capturing cool Google pixel 2 like portrait mode shots from your android device.

  1. not anyone can so easily do it in any android (excluding definitive 64bit setups) phone for one major reason that google states— google pixel2 provides that protrait mode not only from software counterpart (mechine learning ¹5 v34) but also it vastly depends on that hot_shot dual pixel sensor setup and algorithm changer calculative IPU specially desgined for pixel2 and it’s latest Python based Mechine learning system. So if as this article says, anyone tries and successfully gets some outcome, they may be are some custom shots processed by that same camera app but with different calculative methods differentiated by older and easier to access Mechine learning system
