How to get Monochromacy/Black and white display on Android

There is a hidden feature in almost every an Android device, that is monochromatic display. This feature is been been beneficial for OLED devices as it would save 90% of battery life and for night readers as black and white display strains the eye to minimal. How to turn this on?

Head to “About phone” under settings menu

and tap on “Build number”, 7 times and a popup will show “You are now a developer!”

Then head back to previous settings and you’ll see a new options there as  “Developer options”Devloper options

and tick the Developer options on, then scroll down further and you’ll find an option “Simulate colour space

and select “Monochromacy”.

Volia!!!! You are done. Its like hitting two birds in one stone.
