Since last few months Apple has been criticized of several issues including iOS 11 security issues and also over poor battery management on older iphones. In 2018, it seems that Apple has planned to bring a couple of improvements on its upcoming iOS 12 focusing on Reliability and performance over new features.
In the last few months the scenario was pretty much different that other years, the company had to face multiple lawsuits for slowing down older iphones & also people were complaining about several bugs on iOS 11. And Reportedly Apple has already been working to restore its faith by implementing several improvements and new features on upcoming iOS 12 including a redesigned home screen app grid, a multiplayer mode for augmented reality games, and a merger of the third-party applications running on iPhones and Macs.
The features includes a redesigned home screen and in-car user interfaces, improvements to core apps like mail and updates to the picture-taking, photo editing and sharing experiences. Also apple promised to bring a battery health monitoring feature for newer iOS versions which lets users to check if their old battery is affecting the performance and needs to be changed. Apple is prioritizing work to make iPhones more responsive and less prone to cause customer support issues.
It’s confirmed that iOS 12 will also come with improved augmented reality, digital health & parental controls. While apple declined to make any official comment about the launch or release date of iOS 12, but as per their track record we assume that apple typically releases its major updates once a year. And apple is expected to reveal some information about iOS 12 and about the upcoming iPhones at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2018) that is expected to be held in June. So lets see what is awaiting for us with the next version of iOS.
