Google Home is a smart speaker which uses the artificial intelligence to answer your questions. But it seems that recently Google home has made christian people unhappy for its incapability to answer questions about jesus.
When Google home is asked ‘Who is Jesus?’, the Google Home was unable to answer it rather than just saying “I’m not sure how to help you with that.” But According to CNBC reports, it could respond to similar questions about Buddha, Muhammad and Satan.
Angry christian users took social media platform as medium to report this issue. Some people were saying that Google was censoring jesus. But according to google it’s not to disrespect, but to ensure respect.
“The reason the Google Assistant didn’t respond with information about ‘Who is Jesus’ or ‘Who is Jesus Christ’ wasn’t out of disrespect but instead to ensure respect,” Danny Sullivan, Google’s public search liasion, tweeted the statement on Friday,”Some of the Assistant’s spoken responses come from the web, and for certain topics, this content can be more vulnerable to vandalism and spam.”

Now when being asked about religious questions, Google home is responding, “Religion can be complicated, and I am still learning,”. As per the company, until this issue gets fixed, all responses regarding religious figures will be temporarily available in Google Home.
