Remember the era of Nokia’s feature phones back in 2-3 years ago? Nokia 3310 was the most sold feature phones of all time. The smartphone and iPhone market almost dominated the market of feature phones.
This time HMD Global is going to launch a modified 4G version of Nokia 3310. This device was spotted on TENAA yesterday. Nokia TA-1077 passed the certification process or TENNA – the Chinese regulatory body for telecommunication devices, and it’s the 4G variant of Nokia 3310. This device is capable to support both 3G and 4G network.
The previous Nokia 3310 runs on features OS or S30+ platform, but this time Nokia 3310 4G variant will run in YunOS. YunOS is based on android, and this time we’ll be able run some basic android apps like whatsapp,facebook on the device.
Nokia 3310 4G specifications –
The screen size and other specifications the this device still remain same as its predecessor. It has a 2.4 inch QVGA display. This device comes with 1,2000 mAh battery battery,2 MP rear camera with LED flash, Micro-sd card support. This 4G variant is launched in the memory of Nokia most sold smartphone. And it’ll be quite fun to see our childhood phone in our hand again with 4G LTE support.
Release date and availability of this new upcoming device isn’t confirmed yet. Nokia 3310 4G variant is expected to come at price segment of below $100. Nokia is also going to launch new devices in the upcoming year including Nokia 1 android Go edition,Nokia 9.
