Since it’s launch back in the year 2016 July, the augmented reality based game Pokémon Go gained a lot of popularity among users. Niantic always has kept the game updating with new attractive features including improved augmented reality graphics, raid features and weather conditions that makes the game more attractive and comprehensive to play in mobile.
Rcently Niantic has released an official statement in which the states that they’re ending support of Pokémon Go after 28 February for for older iPhones that don’t run on iOS 11. Though Users will be still able to access their Pokémon go account from compatible devices.
Niantic said,”Players using affected devices may no longer be able to access their Pokémon Go accounts from that device, or use their PokéCoins or other items in their bags,”. Niantic also added “They will need to switch to a supported device to continue playing Pokémon Go”.
The main reason of ending support of pokemon go for older devices like iPhone 5 ,5C is the app crashing problems due to back dated old hardware and out of dated operating system of the devices. Users need to update their iPhones with the iOS 11 to keep enjoying the game after February.
