After a long wait, finally, PUBG Lite PC version is going to officially release in India very soon, here’s is everything you need to know. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was launched back on 23 March 2017 and has become 5th most selling video games with over 50 million PC units being sold worldwide. The game is currently available for PC, XBOX and PS4 consoles. However, it needs a really high-end system to play it on, which a number of people don’t have and are unable to enjoy this popular gaming battle royale sensation. PUBG Lite is the optimized version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds which is specially designed to run on low-end computers. 

PUBG Lite beta testing was first started in Thailand back in January, that was further expanded to multiple countries with time including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brazill and a few more. Now a recent post by PUBG PC Lite official Facebook page suggests that the game is all set to grab its footsteps in India region very soon.

“We are thrilled to announce that PUBG LITE will soon be expanding to India!” –  the official Facebook page quotes. Furthermore, their official Facebook page’s cover photo has been updated with a “coming soon” tag including a picture of the iconic Taj Mahal in the background. 

Also, the PUBG Lite official handle is going to present PUBG x Gamer Connect Kolkata to their Indian players. And players can follow the steps mentioned on their page to receive a special reward through gift codes via email on June 13th. All you need to do is to visit GC Kolkata and find the PUBG LITE booth, Like their official Facebook page and take a photo at the booth, share it with their hashtags #PUBGLITE #PLAY_PUBGLITE_TOGETHER.

But graphics quality will be a bit sorted out compared to the steam version to optimize and serve it for low-end systems. As of now, 3 maps are available in PUBG PC Lite – Erangle, Miramar, and Sanhok, the remaining map “Vikendi” and other features will be added as the beta test goes on through upcoming in-game updates.

However, leaving behind just a teaser hint, no official date has been disclosed so far about when PUBG PC Lite is going to become available for India. Although, a few unofficial sources suggest that PUBG Lite would release in India on or before 20-30th June 2019. After all, this is great news for gamers who can’t afford high-end costly games and looking for something free. And this game is likely to become highly popular as PUBG Mobile version for the affordability and as well as for its playability on low-end systems.
